Not sure if I'm going to use it to the same capacity that I've used DA over the past 12 years but I dig the vibe a lot better over there for sure.
www.artstation.com/artist/edel… is anybody else using this website INSTEAD of DA or at the same time due to the different types of artists you find here vs there? Good/better networking? Is this job-listing feature they have good/worth the trouble? Pros? Cons? Im essentially trying to trick myself into being interested in posting my art online again past a fake-out tumblr to show potential employers. Being that I haven't updated this page in nearly a year; its clearly been an uphill battle, to say the least.
Oh yeah, I illustrated a children's book that was published back in June(July?) that you can check out here
amzn.com/0990971430 Its art is unlike anything you will find here due to me having to match the style from its first installment. Book three is currently being worked on and I will be gradually switching the style to something a little more my speed by book 4 if the author hasn't dumped me by then heheh. So check that out if you want. Leave a dope review if you're bored.
Lastly, I'm working on my first ever solo illustration book... it started off as a graphic novel but I just don't have it in me atm to sit there drawing panels all day(unless I can find a Joey Mason to MY Howard Shum - find someone who draws similar to how I see my book in my head, have them pencil it and I'll ink). Random pin-ups and busts tho? All day(all day). More info on that and a possible small toy run I've been making moves towards later.
I appreciate the favs, watches, comments.... & goofy ass "lama badges" too? You kids are weird haha.
